Mr. Dlomo serves as the Chairperson of the Municipal Valuation Appeal Board for the Harry Gwala District under the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA)

Mr. Dlomo is a Member of the Municipal Valuation Appeal Board for the Ugu District, established under the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, No. 6 of 2004
